Night Life in Siaton
Loading ...One of the visible changes the people of Siaton embrace is going with the flow of modernity. This is to be manifested especially on the new generation of Siatanon blood. A breed of moderately, high socialized Siatanons.
In the past, night life in Siaton was popularly celebrated in a form of “bayle“, the term applied to a public disco, dancing held at the local gymnasium and/or sports complex. This has been handed over until the present especially when the town fiesta is approaching and on special town events.
At present, people in Siaton (especially the youngsters) are becoming liberated that aside form the local “bayle“, they’ve innovated places to celebrate a different night life. One of these places where you can spend your past time to drink, eat and relax with your friends is the Appetites.
At “Appetites“, people come to mingle with friends and other people or just simply come to “eat out”. Appetites is located in front of the town’s plaza, and beside MLhuillier Pawnshop along the National Highway. It offers its service, to those who want to spend their night experiences, everyday.
Aside from Appetites, Siaton also has another place to spend leisure and fun during night time. This is the place called “Bar Rockz“. Bar Rockz is a known bar in the place where people hang out with friends to sing along with the karaoke, popularly known as “videoke”. Of course, drinks are also available both soft and hard drinks. Bar Rockz is located in front of the parish church of Siaton – St. Nicholas de Barri Parish. Both the Appetites and Bar Rockz are situated inside the town.
“Tigbalayon” also offers good services for the people who want to spend their night life in Siaton. Tigbalayon is a cool mini bar with a videoke for local singers and/or even for non-singers. It is a two-story building and the fun is on the second floor. Tigbalayon is a local term which means “unfinished house”. It is located beside the new Ceres Bus Terminal.
Going out from the downtown to a place in the near barangay known as Sumaliring, rose a cool place to spend an enjoying night life in Siaton. This is the “Bernie’s” at the Petron Gas Station. This is also known as the Arbo Park wherein people can stop for a food, drink and jam with their live bands every Friday night and sing along with the Acoustics every Saturday night.
Presently, the people of Siaton would add one activity on their daily routine and that is to hang out with their family and friends and spending the best night life in Siaton ever.
