The Mayor of Siaton, Vincent Arbolado, said that the fund used for the project was loaned from the Development Bank of the Philippines supported by the funding from Governor Emilio Macias, II and Pryde Henry Teves, congressman of the 3rd District.

The opening of the newest bus terminal in Negros Oriental brought joy to the heart of Siatanons because they have seen yet another great achievement from their beloved Mayor. And this is another great leap to civilization as Siaton can greatly accommodate any passenger vehicles. Thus, making Siaton more accessible to all travelers and tourists who are frequently visiting the place to experience a different kind of adventure.

After five days of operation, great feedbacks are always heard from the lips of bus operators, drivers and passengers especially those who are from Southern part of Negros Oriental. The terminal is well-organized; buses from Dumaguete City and Bayawan City enters the town passing through different streets to avoid further delay.

Furthermore, convenience stores are also available within terminal premises. So, passengers who want to buy something before departure will not worry of being left behind.
