Melindo Won Over Tamara Via Unanimous Decision

Melindo won over Tamara via a unanimous decision. His awesome boxing skills and reflexes overshadowed the Columbian opponent, Tamara. The judges saw the fight with scores, 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93 in favor of Cagayan de Oro native, Melindo.
Tamara has 3 inches advantage in reach but this did not bother the pinoy fighter to bring down his assault to the Columbian. Just by looking at the physical aspect of the fighters, Tamara has all the advantages with heavier and bulkier body. It is because of these aspects that Melindo found it hard to knock him down during the fight.
Tamara kept on coming for the win despite countless jabs an punches thrown by Melindo. The Columbian boxer is living a reputation of a durable boxer especially after winning over Brian Viloria by sheer stamina.
However, the motivation of Melindo made him a winner and still undeafeated holding a record of 23-0-0, 7KOs. The pinoy boxer is waiting for the opportunity to come to be able to fight for a title.
