Obama Asia Trip To Commence on the 12th of November
In pursuit of strengthening the leadership of the United States in Asian region, US President Barrack Obama is set to commence his 10-day Asia trip in the 12th. This trip is said to renew old alliances, strengthen economic competitiveness and forge new relationships. Thus, the US President will have to attend numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings. He is set to visit Japan, China, Singapore and South Korea.
Asia is close to the heart of the US president because he had attended school in Jakarta from 1967 to 1971. It happened because Obama’s mother was married to an Indonesian after being divorced with his Kenyan father.
This is going to be Obama’s last trip to Asia this year and it is said to be delayed on purpose so that he can attend the memorial service of the 13 people who were killed in the shooting happened at the Ford Hood Army base.
Moreover, it is expected that Obama will visit a US troop base in South Korea and have a Town Hall Event with Chinese youths.
In December, President Obama will also attend an international climate summit in Copenhagen which will last for more than a week.
