ANAHEIM, California – Boxing analysts said that Ukrainian Wladimir Sidorenko will have his glorious times in a fight against Nonito Donaire but it seems that the glory that the analysts were talking about is for the Filipino boxer.

The Highlights

Midway through the first round, Donaire knocked Sidorenko down with a superb left hook, straight right combination that surprised the Ukrainian. Because of it, the Filipino boxer dominated the round by wisely letting go of powerful punches to keep Sidorenko pressured all throughout the round.

There was not much to say about the second round only that Donaire still dominated over Sidorenko bombarding him with stronger jabs and punches.

The third round was yet another glorious time for Donaire as he hurt his opponent with a left hook. This round may have broke the nose of the Wladimir, although, he was still able to fight and putting pressure on his opponent.

The knock down in the first round was a sign that Sidorenko will be beaten within the first five rounds of the fight. And true enough, with the left-right combination of Donaire, he sent his opponent down kneeling as the referee stopped the fight. Sidorenko’s face was covered with blood as his nose bled.

The Match Against Montiel

Donaire is entitled to fight against Fernando Montiel if he wins his battle with Sidorenko. As everyone may have heard, the Ukrainian was confident enough to say that he doesn’t want to be a stepping stone for Donaire but a hard rock to stop him.

With his victory, a sure fight with Montiel will take place in February 19, 2011.

Since his fight with Vallejo, Nonito has never been lost even to Vic Darchinyan who went down with his sensational one-punch knockout.

With his victories, he is known to be the fighter who will become the next Pacquiao. He is one of the most promising fighters in the 21st century.
