Workers, various sectors to storm US Emba, demand VFA junking

Hundreds of protestors will storm to US Embassy tomorrow, September 16, the 2oth anniversary of the junking by the Senate of the RP-US Military Bases Agreement brought by the intense public pressure and protests.
Twenty years, we continue marching in the streets as US troops are back in the country through the Visiting Forces Agreement. About 600 military personnel under the US Joint Special Operations Command are maintaining a permanent structure in Camp Navarro in Zamboanga City.

Protestors will burn a huge image of Uncle Sam and Aquino holding firearms above a military tank.
