NASA: Agusan ‘fish-rain’ a natural phenomenon, yet unusual

While many were shocked upon hearing it, Agusan’s ‘rain of fish’ on Friday the 13th is a recognized natural phenomenon, yet unusual.
The residents of Loreto town, Agusan del Sur were the first to be taken aback after knowing it was raining fish on Friday morning while they were keeping warm inside their houses. At first, the residents were unmindful of the rain as small yellow fishes, which some thought of as mudfish fingerlings falling from the sky.
So far, there is still no update from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources on this incident.
While waiting for an official statement from BFAR, residents begin giving their own supernatural interpretations on such unusual occurrence. Others are even inferring what happened to the rain of frogs inscribed in the Bible.
But according to Lin Chambers of the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) Langley Research Center, such occurrence is a natural phenomenon without supernatural value. Chambers posted her article associated with this matter on the official website of NASA. She further elucidated that the ‘fish-rain’ in Agusan is not the first incident recorded.
Several occasions have been recorded in the United States, wherein rainfall brings several different creatures such as frogs and fishes. Other recorded instances are the rain of insects, in various forms.
As for the latest weird phenomena recorded in the Philippines, Chambers explained this can be triggered by a lot of factors, including the one explained by the weather bureau stationed in Agusan.
“The essential skill that scientists bring to such a situation is the ability and habit of mind to immediately turn wild speculation into testable questions, and to identify the evidence that would allow that question to be answered,” Chambers explained.
PAGASA station in Agusan has prior said the ‘fish-rain’ in the area may possibly due to a water sprout from a cumuliform cloud, which vacuumed up fishes from a body of water and then dropped them down as the water sprout dissipated.

The birth of science and majority of its advocates of today always deny the supernatural involvement of any episodes that appear unusual and explain them in their terms that can’t be objectively measured and discerned. There is always a huge difference between being “skeptical” and being “unbeliever.”
Scientists chose to be skeptical about almost everything to be able to attain truth. And science is all about understanding the nature of things and not denying what seems to be natural. There has never been any scientific journals published denying the existence of God. Even ancient atheist couldn’t directly say God doesn’t exist because they still believe there’s something of higher nature that makes things work.

when my friend told me only this morning about de rain of fishes in Agusan, i take it as a joke, now i see it’s true. well, how hard is God trying to call our attention. when i will understand how to follow His Holy Will with Love!
Following God’s will is simply living your life the best you could without hurting others.
I’m sure fish rain in Agusan is God’s will, but he enlightened man’s mind to understand these kinds of phenomena are normal.
