Whitney Houston, 48, was found dead in her hotel suite after spending more than an hour in her tub. Her face was reportedly submerged in water while her legs were in the air when one of the members of her entourage entered the bathroom. Half a dozen of prescription drugs including Lorazepam, Valium and Xanax which were known to be relaxants, sleeping aids and ease anxiety were found in her room.

Her bodyguard, helped by hotel staff, tried to revive her after she was taken out of the water but she was already cold and not breathing. An ambulance arrived two minutes after Houston’s body was found. But she was pronounced dead by a doctor.

It was believed that she passed out while in her tub. The CCTV footage of the hotel was taken possession by the Beverly Hills police but the authorities haven’t found any hint of foul play related to Whitney Houston’s death.

Whitney Houston was one of the biggest stars in the music and movie industries before she found her way into drug and alcohol addiction. Just when she is ready to go back on the right track, she lost her life.

Personally, I love listening to Houston’s music considering she has this soothing effect in her voice. I am even one of the people who are intently waiting for her return and new album releases.

Rest In Peace Whitney Houston!
