WATERFRONT HOTEL, Cebu City – Randy Suico frustrated Tinampay via majority decision. Two of the judges scored in favor of Suico (78-74, 77-75) while the other one scored a draw (76-76).

Tinampay dominated the fight from round 1 to 4 sensing that Suico is out of the rhythm. Surprisingly, the come back of Suico stopped the domination of Tinampay when in the 5th round the Mandaue City native Suico started connecting hard punches. In the sixth round, Tinampay’s left eye started to close due to hard punches it has received from Suico.

The pressing attacks of Suico shocked the other fighter up to the final round and his domination starting round 5 is too much to take by Tinampay.

Suico has now a record of 30-6-1 with 25KOs. A great night for Filipino boxers, indeed.
